“Zevon – Accidentally Like A Martyr” allows Henry and the band to work with a repertoire of extraordinary songs and lyrics – some hits and many that should have been. The production is not just any old Wikipedia-driven Zevon biography about the many sins of the 70s, but instead focuses on the music for which his fans around the world adore him. Truth be known, his story is in the music.
From heretic to heroic: “Zevon – Accidentally Like A Martyr” by Henry Wagons is a marriage of rare convenience.
