Martin Cilia, Cronulla Jazz & Blues Festival 4th June 2023

One of the world’s most respected guitarists in the surf guitar style and unquestionably the premier exponent in this land, Martin Cilia is the type of player other guitarists make it a point to see.

He has released a number of his own albums and bands as far afield as the U.S. and Helsinki have covered his tracks.

Over the last twenty-five years he has also become an integral member of the legendary Atlantics whose `Bombora’ surfed its way to the top of international charts back in the 60s. Martin recently wrote, played on, and produced the new Atlantics album Still Making Waves.

Accomplished in many other styles too, such as jazz, country, and rock, Martin is currently playing with rockers The Radiators. He was also a long standing member of Mental As Anything, and continues to play, write and record with Dave Warner.
