Mikelangelo & Rob Snarski, Spiegeltent – 8th July 2016

Rob Snarski and Mikelangelo first met in 1997, Mikel was lying in a coffin dressed in white as Elvis with Rob gazing down at his seemingly lifeless body, singing at him – thus began their first collaboration. Fast forward 20 years and the two singers are performing their first double headline shows together.

It was a rare opportunity to hear the honey-voice of Snarski meld with the velvet baritone of Mikelangelo as they re-interpreted classics from Nancy Sinatra’s Bang Bang to Ricky Nelson’s Lonesome Town and re-imagined their solo songs as a duo, including selections from Mikelangelo’s critically lauded album City Of Dreams and Snarski’s acclaimed award-winning solo album Wounded Bird along with tunes from the songs by request album Low Fidelity.
