The Sicarios featured special guests Dave Warner, Martin Cilia (Mentals, The Atlantics) Kent Steedman (Celibate Rifles), and Nicole Warner.

Two different Guitar worlds collided at Camelot Lounge Marrickville, Celebrating “Tom Petty”. Kent Steedman (The Celibate Rifles) and Martin Cilia (The Atlantics).

The SICARIOS excel at something that few other bands have been able to truly nail. They take classics from three heavyweights and not only do they honour the music completely – which they do with rich harmonies, steely guitar riffs and rhythms, and total cohesion – drummer and frontman Lloyd G, manages to inject entirely new layers of meaning and significance to the music.

By sharing his relationship to these seminal tunes, Lloyd’s reverence and respect for the music that shaped him as an inquisitive young man from Burma growing up in Australia, further elevates the music. And that’s not even to say how he perfectly captures the vocal timbres of Fogerty, Petty and Young.
