Mote, The Tote, Collingwood 20th October 2019

Melbourne psych band Mote (featuring members of Jack on Fire, Pink Tiles, Greta Mob) supported Birdstriking at the Tote. It’s been a couple of years since the band dropped their demo ‘Recordings I’ which received local radio attention, including a feature on PBS FM’s Radio City 2016 special wrap-up and airplay on RRR. Since then, the band has been playing around town, including strong recent supports with regarded psych bands Flavor Crystals (US) and Dream Can (China).

The band has also put together a collection of stylised surreal video clips to accompany their brand of atmospheric space-rock, hypnotic kraut and expansive soundscapes.
